Thank you for your interest in touring the University of Virginia! The best way to know if the University of Virginia is the right place for you is to experience Grounds for yourself. If you are unable to visit us in person, please register for a virtual Welcome & Tour. We offer tours throughout the summer and during the academic year. Our tours open with a brief welcome from a dean, then move to the student-led tour. If you plan to visit outside our regularly scheduled tours, we invite you to take a self-guided tour of Grounds. For the safety of our student guides and visitors, tour size is limited, and there is no waitlist. In order to accommodate as many prospective students as possible, each student may bring TWO guests, and space is limited to registered guests. For unregistered guests, we offer self-guided and virtual tour options. You can find information on the most up-to-date University COVID policies here. For planning purposes, this visit will last approximately two hours. Plan to arrive 15-20 minutes in advance to pay for parking and check in, and the tour of Grounds will last approximately 90 minutes. Our tours are led by current students who will show you around Grounds and answer your questions about life at UVA.
