Group Tours

The University of Virginia welcomes admission tour requests for groups of 10 or more prospective students, space permitting, on Tuesdays and Thursdays in February and March 2023. Registration for summer group tours (May to August 2023) will be posted in the coming months.

If you would like to request any non-admission specialty tours (Memorial to Enslaved Laborers, History of African Americans at UVA, History of Women at UVA, Garden Tours, Children's Tours, etc.) please contact the University Guide Service here. The University Guide Service is a student-run volunteer organization, and they handle these tours independent of the Office of Admission. NOTE: The University Guide Service offers specialty tours throughout the academic year, January 18 – May 2.

Please note that all of our tours have a 20 minute grace period. If you arrive more than 20 minutes after your tour start time, we will instead invite you to take a self-guided tour of Grounds.

Upon submitting a request for an admission tour, you will see a system confirmation message in your browser window. You will also receive an email confirming that the Office of Admission has received your request. If we have questions or concerns about your request, we will contact you.

For general questions about group visits, please email admissionevents@virginia.edu.

COVID Restrictions: To help protect the health and safety of the UVA community and all our visitors, visitors are expected to follow all health and safety guidelines established by the Governor of Virginia, the University of Virginia, and the Office of Undergraduate Admission. Please check this site for current information.
